Okay, so I had a few agendas with this one. Yesterday, I said to Gregory that I had a craving for a 'Muscle Mac' pizza. What's a muscle mac pizza you say? Well, it's only the most delicious pizza made by Chili Mac's, a restaurant that was 10 feet from our apartment when we lived in the city. It's made with tomatoes, fresh mushrooms, roasted garlic, spinach and artichoke hearts. He had to agree with me because the next thing I knew he said we should go there tomorrow for lunch and spend the day in the city with the boys. I thought it also made for a wonderful walk to try and get labor started. :)
We couldn't have asked for a more perfect day. Our first stop was Millennium Park. Followed by a long walk and lunch at Lincoln Park Zoo. Okay, so now you're wondering what happened to the pizza. Well, at about 3:30 that afternoon, we headed over there to pick one up and take home for dinner that night. We couldn't leave the zoo at lunch time....we were having way too much fun!
The pizza was just as I remembered. If you're ever in the area, you need to stop in for one!
