I think this was our first trip to the zoo during the winter months. Usually we wait until the first sign of Spring, but we must have had a case of cabin fever to be out this early in the year. It was actually kind of nice. Not too many people and the animals seemed active enough. Of course we didn't stay too long, too cold still, but we did manage to catch a dolphin show and check out a few indoor exhibits; like the crocodile one you see below.

At the start of the dolphin show the boys were excited. They sat patiently and waited for the show to begin. Luckily, we brought with us a little "Hayden mix" to keep the natives from getting restless.

Before the show began, they made an announcement to all those sitting in the first 5 rows, we were sitting in row 2, that there was a good possibility the dolphins would splash and you could get wet. I thought to myself, how much could you possibly get wet? So, we didn't move.
However, next time....we are going to have to reconsider, especially in the winter time. Some of us were not too happy with the splash effect.
I, on the other hand, was trying to show what a good sport I was even though I wasn't too happy either.
We managed to muster up our pride an visit two more exhibits and then we headed home; a little tired and a little wet.
